Banana and Date Biscuits
Ingredients:
3 Bananas mashed
1 cup dates chopped
1/3 cup coconut oil
½ cup walnuts chopped or cashews or both
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup of desiccated coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla powder or vanilla oil (Health Shop)
Method: Preheat oven for at 180 degrees.
Combine the first three ingredients. Add remaining ingredients to the first three and mix well.
Allow mixture to stand for 10 minutes.
Shape into biscuits to any size you want then place on lined tray using baking paper.
Cook for 25 minutes they should be golden brown then turn over and cook for another 20 minutes.
Turn off oven leave biscuits in the oven for an extra 5 minutes or to cool down. Enjoy!
Helpful Tips: When cooled down place into a container and place in the fridge. Best to you vanilla powder because vanilla essence as has alcohol in it. You can even roll them into balls.
